Open Beta 3.0.3. Transmission installation.

Dear Friends,

In this guide i will explain you in few easy steps how to enable and run transmission torrent downloader with your prodigy.

You will have to install and run the latest beta 3.0.3 for this to work.

All credits for this know how and files are to EDAS.

(1) download this file and extract it into the HDD inside your prodigy

(2) Make sure your device has local network connection and that it is connected also to the internet.

(3) Use any Telnet Client of your choice.

Type : Your device ip address in your local address

when asked for username type : root

(4) Paste this command to your telnet prompt and press ENTER

/bin/transmission/transmission-daemon -g /tmp/usbmounts/sda1/transmission/.settings/

(5) here you have 2 choices....to use a web based client or to use an operating system based client :

For web Client

goto your web browser to this address:

http://your Prodigy IP address:9091

For application client

Go here and download the client which suitable to your PC operating system
